Glow + Repair Therapy is a 30-minute skin session available alongside IV vitamin drips at SKNN Clinic Bangkok. Performed while your infusion runs, it combines a facial cleanse, 10 minutes under an LED light mask and a 15-minute serum-rich sheet mask. This guide explains each step, what the evidence says about LED light therapy, and how to choose an IV drip to pair with it.
What is Glow + Repair Therapy?
Glow + Repair Therapy is an express skin session designed to be booked with an IV vitamin drip. It doesn’t replace a personalised skin treatment plan. It gives your skin structured attention while you’re already at the clinic.
Step 1: Cleanse (around 5 minutes)
Your therapist begins with a facial cleanse to remove surface residue and prepare the skin for light therapy.
Step 2: LED light mask (10 minutes)
Next, you rest beneath our LED light mask. LED light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to interact with the skin. Red light is the wavelength most often studied for skin rejuvenation and the appearance of fine lines, while blue light is studied for its effect on acne-associated bacteria. Results depend on the wavelength, the treatment settings and how consistently treatment is repeated. A single session is an introduction, not a complete programme.
Step 3: Serum sheet mask (15 minutes)
The session finishes with a sheet mask soaked in a serum containing Kishu Binchotan charcoal from Japan. Charcoal is traditionally associated with cleansing, and the serum is formulated to hydrate and support a more even-looking complexion.
Why LED light therapy suits a regular skincare routine
LED light therapy is non-invasive. Unlike exfoliation or treatments that cause controlled skin injury, it doesn’t remove the skin’s surface layer. For people who want to maintain their skin between more intensive treatments, it offers a low-downtime option. Glow + Repair Therapy is a gentle introduction to this approach. Before your session, our team reviews your medical history and any photosensitising medication.
Choose your IV drip
IV vitamin drips at SKNN Clinic Bangkok start from the tier shown on our current menu. Each formulation is selected after an assessment of individual suitability, so the right choice depends on your goals and health history.
IV therapy doesn’t replace topical skincare or sun protection. Evidence for the skin benefits of IV collagen and IV glutathione is limited, so discuss realistic outcomes with our clinical team. L-carnitine is not a shortcut to fat loss, and research into the long-term benefits of NAD+ infusions is still developing.
Frequently asked questions
How long does Glow + Repair Therapy take?
The skin session takes around 30 minutes and runs alongside your IV infusion. Check your chosen drip’s appointment length when booking.
Can I book Glow + Repair Therapy on its own?
It’s an add-on to an IV drip appointment. Choose your formulation first, then add the session.
Is LED light therapy suitable for everyone?
Most clients enjoy it, but our team checks your medical history and medication before treatment. If you’re pregnant, have a photosensitive condition or take photosensitising medication, please speak to the doctor first.
How many sessions will I need?
Results depend on your skin, your concerns and how consistently you treat. Our team can recommend a plan during your consultation.
Is this a replacement for a full facial?
No. It’s a lighter session. For a more comprehensive facial, SKNN Clinic also offers treatments such as Hydro Facial and Microdermabrasion, which you can combine with IV therapy.
